The Chestnut Tree Bookshop and the team at Ewert Leaf enlisted Koble Projects to transform a little, charming, sustainable bookstore in the heart of West Footscray. The new fit-out reflects the interesting and eclectic aesthetic of the inner Melbourne suburb, with a focus on modern design and elegant, warm and inviting fixtures and finishes.

As well as being a source of fiction and non-fiction scripture, The Chestnut Tree Bookshop also operates as a fully-fledged Melbourne coffee hot spot.

This newly constructed fit-out is a reflection of the transformation West Footscray has made over the past 10 years, known for its arts and food scenes and now its thriving book scene.
