Church Street Butcher

Church Street Butchers is an icon to the people of Brighton. As a staple of the local scene, it has since developed to be much more than a butcher – it now specialises in organic, grass-fed products with an emphasis on the sustainable.

So when the time came to update the look of the existing clinical, tired store, we jumped at the chance to help.

Works consisted of a complete demolition of the existing structure and a concrete slab laid between two buildings. And with a solid foundation in place, work began on the interior.

The new fit-out included new floors and wall finishes, a bespoke cool room build, display cabinet and large food prep area, all done food grade and in line with OH&S requirements. The result is a clean, funky, confident build that retains a strong sense of identity.

Church Street Butcher now has a refreshed, welcoming air that better suits the product they sell and the community they serve.
