Never ones to shy away from a challenge, we were keen to take on the development of the new office of OpenTable – a global culinary booking agency. And it was a challenge.

The site had complicated access; it was rundown and suffered from years of neglect. With only a short turnaround time, we had to be both thorough and diligent when revitalising the old site into an exciting new space.

We were also tasked with the addition of a second floor, housing an office to oversee business below.

We created exposed ceilings throughout the entire building, making the transition from the break room area to the desks seamless – while remaining sympathetic to the industrial nature of the building.

Underneath the ceiling rests a professional coffee station, ample seating space, television and table tennis space as well as (of course) an extensive kitchen.

The result is an open structure that perfectly projects the warm and welcoming ideals that OpenTable represents.
