Universal Music Australia

We were contracted to construct the head office of an absolutely iconic global music label. Based on the second level of Carlton’s iconic King & Godfrey building, the goal of the project was to mirror a sense of music-studio authenticity found in each of their sister global offices. And to upstage them a little, of course.

Nothing was done by halves. The project contained multiple sound booths, a board room that can double as a theatre and an exciting recreational area for employees to enjoy.

High-end finishes were implemented through every element of the build, with exposed beam ceilings and blonde wood detailing taking centre stage.

The space now stands as an instantly iconic, world-class fit-out for the Melbourne office of Universal Music Australia.
